Dr Jeyakumar Devaraj reports that Parliament is now in the Committee Stage of the discussion of a Supplementary Budget amounting to RM20 billion. This will bring the Budget for 2008 to over RM150 billion! At the committee stage, the House discusses the budget ministry by ministry and MPs are constrained to only raise issues related to items mentioned in the Supplementary Budget.
